Wine List 2010
The wines on this list have been chosen to represent a selection of leading brands and fine wines. All wines have been personally tasted by senior management and a grading system is used for Red wines on a perceived measure of style, based on a combination of alcohol, tannin and fruit concentration. On a scale from A to E, with A being the lightest and E the heaviest. Please note vintages may vary.
A = Light
B = Medium Light
C = Medium
D = Full bodied
E = Heavy
The White wines are on a scale of 1 to 9, with 1 being the driest and 9 the sweetest. This is not a definitive analysis but a measure of the relationship between alcohol, acidity, and sugar.
1 = Very Dry
2 = Dry
3 = Off Dry
4 = Medium Dry
5 = Medium Sweet
6 = Sweet
7 = Very Sweet
8 = Rich
9 = Luscious
Only House red, white & rose, House Sparkling and House Champagne are on a sale or return basis. All other wines are to be pre-ordered and pre-paid for. Unopened bottles may be taken by the client at the end of the function. Prices are correct as of November 2009 ;however, wines may be subject to suppliers or budget increases. Our staff will be pleased to confirm.
In the event that our suppliers are unable to obtain a requested wine we will endeavour to supply one of equivalent or superior quality.
